Bike Ride

Jasper to Banff Awareness Ride

For our big sporting event in 2015, we put together a team of six people and did a bike ride from Jasper to Banff to raise awareness about the tragic consequences of driving impaired. Sporting T-shirts with Geo's picture on them along with the message, “Remember Geo Mounsef, Please Don't Drink and Drive,” we took over the Icefields Parkway for 4 days. An RV full of our support volunteers followed close behind. We took pride in telling everybody we met on the trip about Geo's story and encouraged them to help spread our message against impaired driving. 4 days and 290km later, the “Welcome to Banff” sign never looked so good. CBC news did an amazing story on the event.
